Hello all! (hehe…hello pan!)

I hope everyone is well and enjoying the cold weather! I am, although the ice today is a little sketchy. I’ve seen a lot of people fall today. Not so much fun. But it still looks pretty! And it’s melting anyways.

I’ve officially finished three whole credits of university classes! I had two in-class exams, which I have now finished, so those classes are completely done. Now all that’s left is to see how I did… They were both really easy exams. The first was just a conversation in Spanish (yay for exams that are fun to study for!), and the other was my poetry exam, which just required me to discuss poetic devices and their uses in the poems presented. It was almost fun too. I’m kind of sad that I’m done my poetry class, though. Next semester I have fiction and creative non-fiction. I’m looking forward to the fiction, but I’m a little sceptical about the creative non-ficiton. I mean, what exactly does that mean, even? I guess I’ll find out on January 4th!

This is my penultimate day of classes! I have one class this afternoon (Latin), which is just review and a party, and one tomorrow (Spanish). Normally I would have had two more tomorrow, but one of them I already did my exam, so I don’t have to go, and the other is cancelled because of a memorial. This means that I’m done my first term of university classes at 9:30am tomorrow! I can’t believe it’s over already. It feels like I just arrived here!

Anyways, there was a specific reason I was writing. Now, what was it…? Oh yeah! Tomorrow, right after my last class, I’m going to White Rock with Andrew! I was expecting to go over on Saturday afternoon, but two days ago he announced that we would be leaving early on Friday. We’re just going to hang out for two days, and then go to the dinner dance on Saturday evening. I’m very excited! I’m looking forward to seeing White Rock, and meeting his friends and family, now that I’ve heard so much about them. The point of all this is that I’m going to be away from my computer for three days. So if you email me, I won’t get back to you for a bit. If you’re desperate to get a hold of me, you can always call. I’m sure the world will continue turning without me, though.

That’s really all my news. This week I didn’t do all that much. Oh, on Tuesday I hung out with Chris, and then Andrew. That was nice, but I didn’t get anything done that day. Sigh. Other than that, I usually eat with some friend or another, but I’ve been sticking close to home.
